This is a response to by I totally suck at drawing dogs, apologies! XD Tam's pose is reffed from one of my own photos.

As Juan scurried off in search of the stallion's long suffering owner, Tam yawned. Although he'd spent most of the day eating and sleeping and adjusting to the alien climate, he considered it a lot of hard work and needed his rest. He'd nearly drifted off when a little bundle of puppy had appeared at his side and snuggled up with him in the hay. He was used to dogs of course; they had a variety of four legged companions back at EAE but this one was a lot smaller than usual and was therefore perplexing. Was it a cat? A dog? Something else entirely? It was a mystery, but one that he couldn't be bothered to investigate further as it was time for yet another snooze.
Before he'd had a chance to close his eyes again he felt the furry object at his elbow shift position and suddenly vanish. He looked over his foreleg but there was nothing to see until - OW! Something was pulling at his tail and he got to his feet in a frantic flurry of movement. He looked again but still, nothing.
Finally, an irritatingly smug sounding bark from somewhere underneath him signalled the location of the missing dog and he peered round to have a look.
