Ok, so when I constantly say that I can't draw people...please hit me. XD I'm really pleased with this one, even though his head looks absolutely nothing like what it should! (it probably didn't help that I completely forgot about his eyebrows until I was just about to upload it...) Finding refs of this costume was a right pain in the arse - even cosplayers seem to avoid it although I can't see why, it's easily the best in the game. ;)

Anyhoo, this is my first proper attempt at a semi-realistic person so yay for experimentation! I've been trying to be a little 'looser' as my 5th year art teacher used to say, hence the scribbly bits. I started it last night and finished it...well...just before I uploaded it. XD (I'm getting faster!) It's been a lot of fun to paint actually so this might not be the last you see of this game in my gallery.... ;) :jarksaber:

----------------

I've always loved Star Wars, even if I couldn't tell you all that much about it if you asked (I only recently got the dvds of the original trilogy so I'm a little out of practice! lol) so when I heard there was a game coming out a few years ago I was really excited. Somehow I managed to forget about it and it was only when I upgraded to a PS3 last year that I thought about getting it. I played the demo at a friend's house and was completely and utterly hooked. Even if it turned out to be rubbish, just being able to wield possibly the most awesome weapon in the history of everything was worth the buying price in my view. XD (seriously, it's been proven by science, you cannot ever be bored by hearing a lightsaber ignite. ;) )

I finished it rather quickly (especially for my standards) and immediately started it again; I'd had that much fun the first time round! I really liked Starkiller/Galen as a character (what can I say? I always end up falling for the damaged ones!XD) but I felt like something was missing, as if there were cut scenes that had literally been cut from the game as there seemed to be more to the story than the game showed - specifically his relationship with Juno and his past on Kashyyyk. I heard that there had been a book to accompany the game so on my regular geekfixtrip to Forbidden Planet I asked if they had a copy but gah, apparently there were no more in stock and they'd been discontinued! Unperturbed, I managed to find it in Waterstones (I used vouchers so yay, free book!) and read it over the weekend.

To anyone who's only played the game I'd seriously recommend the book. It explained so much more and now whenever I watch the cutscenes I have much more insight into the characters themselves which is great. :) It's also not a bad book on it's own too which says a lot, given that my only other book-of-the-game turned out to be a load of rubbish. ¬¬ - Assassin's Creed: Renaissance (oh gaaaawd, some of the lines are genuinely cringeworthy)
