The Harpley Hunt

My first bit of submitted art in AGES! My tablet's still on the blink and I've no pen pressure to speak of, but as I do all my lineart traditionally there's not really much difference from my normal work, ahaha. I cheated with the background horses and used pre-existing drawings, as I thought there was no point drawing more from scratch when I was going to blur them out of recognition anyway! I cheated with the hounds too...there's actually only three of them. XD (I'm terrible at drawing canines D

Two prizes for this one! One for 'Most Atmospheric' and the other for 'Horse the judge would most like to ride'

For many at EAE it was another Christmas spent away from the yard - this time much further south than the previous year, when several of the regulars travelled down to the north of England for a festive get-together at Oak Hollow. This time round however, they were in the very south-east of the country, a land of broad and seemingly endless farmland - a far cry from the rugged hills and moorland that they called home.
Heather was still a little nervous about tackling the hedges and hard gallops, so Lisa offered to team up with her and take things a little slower. This was significantly easier said than done, as Kerry's Welsh Cob side came out whenever he got excited, and his gigantic trot was just as fast, if not more so, than Banksy's more moderate canter.

Starring: Lisa and Kerry, Heather and Banksy, David and Tam, Jenny and Harper, Random McRandom and (still to be introduced) Luna, and Abigail with Harry. Poor Nikolai's been left back home to mind the yard pretty much by himself!

No refs, lines drawn traditionally on paper then scanned and coloured in photoshop.
